Qasim Khan
Instructor
Br. Qasim, grew up in United Arab Emirates, is pursuing his degree in Civil Engineering at McMaster University and has worked in the industry in design and project planning leading various municipal construction projects. His journey of service to the Deen began in his teenage years, culminating in the completion of his Hifz of the Quran in 2017 from Al Kitab Academy.

Since then, Br. Qasim has been imparting his knowledge by teaching Tajweed and conducting Hifz classes for boys. With a solid foundation in Arabic under the guidance of an instructor from the Bayyinah Institute, he serves as an Arabic teacher in the community. Continuing his pursuit of Islamic education, Br. Qasim is currently working towards his Alimiyyah degree at the Qalam Institute, studying under renowned scholars like Mufti Hussain Kamani and Sh. Mikael Smith.

His commitment extends to teaching in various workshops and dedicated his time as a weekend school teacher in Mississauga, mentoring and training students. As a senior member of McMaster MSA, Br. Qasim passionately leads Arabic classes and sessions.

In his free time, Br. Qasim finds joy in Urdu poetry and writing spoken words. He also dedicates his time to conducting brothers' halaqa in the local community.
